Stafford resident Richmond Yeboah was arrested on Tuesday afternoon following an investigation into a reported fight involving at least eight people, including two who were hospitalized with stab wounds.

Shortly before 9 p.m. on Monday night, deputies from the Stafford County Sheriff's Office were called to Mary Washington Hospital in Fredericksburg after two 17-year-olds arrived for treatment of stab wounds sustained during the fracas.

The teens advised investigators that they were involved in the fight with six others that took place in the Southgate Subdivision, which was later confirmed by deputies in the neighborhood who "located an obvious crime scene."

Witnesses were able to provide video of the incident, which led them to identify Yeboah as a suspect. He was arrested without incident at his home on Queensland Drive on Jan. 30 and charged with two counts of malicious wounding.

Yeboah is being held without bond at the Rappahannock County Jail. No information about his initial court appearance was released by the sheriff's office.
